Garwood Mall is an 86,000 SF neighborhood retail center at 300 South Ave, Garwood, NJ, developed on a 6.58-acre site and completed between 1969 and 1971. The former Thatcher Furnace factory site was demolished and Abraham Goodman was engaged as architect. The center includes 390 surface parking spaces (4.5 spaces per 1,000 SF) and 765 feet of South Ave frontage. Located three minutes from the Garwood rail station, the project achieved full occupancy.
